I am an experienced accompanist of all instrumentalists, singers and choirs.
My experience
I started accompanying in my teens, supporting my brother as he practised advanced trumpet music. Since then I have accompanied:-

Amateur operatics groups, both in rehearsal and in the orchestra pit during performances.

Choirs, including 10 years as the regular accompanist for Di Voci ladies choir in Altrincham.

Instrumentalists and singers in exams and other performances.

I first met Abi when she was recommended to me by at least three different people independently to accompany my daughter on piano for her saxophone exam. I knew then she was the 'go to' person in the area. Since then, Abi has regularly supported her through three grade exams. Not only is Abi extremely professional and proficient, she also seems to know how to bring out the best in my daughter who has consequently grown in confidence. Abi has also been a constant presence at school music performances such as concerts and GCSE exams. She has made time in her busy schedule to rehearse with my daughter and offer feedback to help her improve. Abi is also now piano teacher for my nephew and niece. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with her.

Abi was the accompanist for Di Voci choir for many years, during which time we competed in several choral competitions and won the prestigious North Wales Choral Festival.

She is an accomplished pianist and performed the often challenging role of accompanist very well, being able to adapt quickly to the requirements of the musical director and hear when sections of the choir were slightly off key. She was also able to direct the choir herself when necessary. She is a well liked and respected musician.
